When You Need a Gateway

A direct Wi-Fi lock normally connects to the router without a separate bridge. A Bluetooth or mesh product may need a matching gateway when you want to manage it away from the property.

Check the product platform before ordering. Tuya devices require a compatible Tuya gateway. TTLock Bluetooth locks require a compatible TTLock gateway. These systems are not interchangeable.

Tuya Bluetooth Mesh Gateway

The Armstrong Bridge is designed for compatible Tuya Bluetooth and Bluetooth mesh devices. It connects the supported devices to a Wi-Fi network and can extend remote management through the Tuya ecosystem.

Place the gateway where it has strong Wi-Fi and remains within practical Bluetooth range of the devices it serves.

TTLock Gateway

The G2 gateway is intended for compatible TTLock Bluetooth smart locks. It bridges the lock to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for supported remote functions in the TTLock app.

Use this gateway only with products identified as TTLock compatible.

Setup Planning

Before purchase, confirm the app platform, protocol, Wi-Fi band and power requirements. The gateway must remain powered and connected for remote functions to work.

Avoid hiding it inside a metal enclosure or placing it far from the lock. Test remote access before relying on the system.
